The Power of Memories

For nearly 30 years, countless students, leaders, committee members, staff, and families across Issaquah, Snoqualmie Valley, Maple Valley, and surrounding communities were impacted through Young Life ministry led by Tom Hansen and many others who faithfully invested in students’ lives.

What began as an idea to celebrate Tom Hansen’s recent retirement after 45+ years of ministry with Young Life and InterVarsity quickly became something bigger — a reunion bringing together generations of people whose lives were shaped through Young Life in the 1980s and 1990s.

This evening is more than a reunion. It is an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, relive memories through photos, stories, music, and Young Life moments, and celebrate all that Jesus has done — and continues to do — through these communities.

Whether Young Life impacted your life deeply at the time, planted seeds that grew later, or simply gave you friendships and memories you still cherish today, we would love for you to join us.

Come enjoy food, laughter, stories, nostalgia, and a meaningful evening centered around the same hope and joy that brought us together years ago.

We hope this gathering not only reconnects old friends, but also inspires a new generation of involvement and impact through Young Life.
